Dark Electro. Cold Synths. Broken Organs. Rituals.

Formed in 2017, Funeral Director is a French Melodic Dark Electro (Darksynth / Synthwave) project based in Paris. In October 2018, Funeral Director released his first successful single called “Downstairs” and become, in the meantime, one of the emerging artists of the second wave of Synthwave.

In 2019 and 2020, Funeral Director release remixes, singles and EPs beside artists like Masked (Argentina), Hubrid (France), Cyberthing! (USA, California) and takes part of outstanding worldwide music compilations.

In 2021, with an asserted style of heavy music drawing inspiration in Black Metal, Electro MidTempo & Horror Movie Scores, the time had come to release the first Funeral Director album called A Certain Path To Extinction, a 9 tracks journey through Sadness, Melancholia and Dystopia. A unique approach to Chaos & a love/hate letter to our dying World and its uncertain future, featuring top notch bands from the Dark Electro French scene: We Are Magonia, Dav Dralleon & Polybius.
